The social history tab provides the ability to update information as it relates to the patient’s social life.
The social history tab is divided into five sections:
- Work / Education / Religion
- Alcohol / Drugs
- Pets
- Stress
- Travel / Sleep
The first section includes questions relating to social health such as occupation, hours worked, etc.
The second section includes questions relating to the occurrence and quantity of alcohol or drugs used on a regular basis.
The third section lists the most common pets. Rare or exotic pets can be entered as other.
The fourth section includes questions relating to a patient’s stress level.
The last section relates to sleeping habits and if the patient has traveled in the past 12 months.
Enter social history information and click save.
A message displays stating “Social History successfully updated!” The system records the social history changes.
